Children Need Camp – Now More Than Ever

A summer spent at Banner is an amazing experience filled with excitement and fun.

Each year, campers learn new skills, develop life long friends and grow into their fullest potential. We believe camp is vitally important for children every summer.

And now, when children are experiencing life in the midst of a pandemic, camp is even more important. The effects of social distancing and life’s disruption are significant. Yet, a summer at Banner is safely filled with friendship, activity, time outdoors and togetherness. Summer 2020 was healing for many of our campers and staff and we are so grateful to have been able to provide a little bit of normalcy for each of the children.

We were lucky to send our boys to Banner where they were able to play, swim & experience a glimpse of ‘pre-pandemic’ life. Despite the uncertainty of this period of time, the organization & health procedures at Banner allowed us to feel safe & confident sending our kids to camp.Joanna Wieczorek Davidson, M.D., Banner Parent and Emergency Medicine Physician

Camp Modifications During Covid-19

We have modified every single aspect of camp in order to provide a safe and meaningful program.

You exceeded all of my expectations in safety, fun & programming. The hard work your team put into this summer was seen & appreciated.Becky G, Camp Parent
